Site Operative

We currently have an opportunity for a Site Operative to join our team in Worksop assisting in all aspects of our operation. It is a very varied role where the team cover for each other during periods of holiday and absence so a team player with a hands-on and flexible approach is a must. The standard working hours for the role are 40 hours per week, with the requirement to work at least 1 in 4 weekends.

The main duties of the role include:

· To efficiently and safely operate all equipment associated with the Site Operatives job role. This includes LGV shunting in the yard and Bulk Complex areas, FLT operation.

· To operate the weighbridge system and the associated MS D365 software.

· Operate the grain intake in line with the Company procedures.

· Quality control checks, including laboratory testing and system data input.

· Carry out maintenance and cleaning duties as per cleaning schedules or when requested.

· To transfer finished products to the bulk complex ready for loading.

· To carry out all the necessary product protection checks, including tanker inspections and complete all the necessary paperwork.

· Re-working returns and non-conforming products.

· Packing tote bags when required.

· To undertake all requested training in relation to the Maize/Rice Miller and Production Technician roles, Health and Safety and any other job related training.

· To ensure continuous improvement in the Site Operative’s duties and responsibilities.
